ABOUT OUR PRINCIPAL

  Mr. James D. Petersen

Our principal at Victory Christian School is James D. Petersen.  Mr. Petersen has been in Christian education since 1980.  He first taught all the business classes for six years at Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin.  Then he was principal, administrator and teacher at schools in Easley, South Carolina, Statesville, North Carolina, and Greensboro, North Carolina.

He is certified by the North Carolina Christian School Association and has a total of twenty-six years of experience as teacher and principal.

Mr. Petersen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and was in management with the J. C. Penney Company for fifteen years in three states before the Lord called him into Christian education.

Mr. Petersen came to Victory as principal during the summer of 2004.  He says that he loves being around young people and helping train them for what the Lord has for them to do in life.  He likes being the principal but he is enthusiastic, also, about being in the classroom with students.
