ABOUT OUR PASTOR - Benny Bagwell

Benny Bagwell has been the pastor of the Victory Baptist Church of Sylva, North Carolina since March of 1989. He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University in 1974 and Pensacola Christian College in 1982.

For eight years, he was on the staff of the Franklin Road Baptist Church and Christian School in Murfreesboro , Tennessee . For seven years, he served on the staff of the Oakwood Baptist Church and School in Anderson , South Carolina .

Brother Bagwell is currently serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore , North Carolina . He also serves on the Board of the North Carolina Christian School Association. And he serves his community as the volunteer chaplain of the Savannah Fire Department in Jackson County, North Carolina.

Pastor Bagwell is married to his wife of 34 years, Beth Cummings Bagwell, and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
